Helping World Vets reduce pet overpopulation in Ecuador - March 2011
This spring, Blue Hummel and I are going to Ecuador to participate in a World Vets spay/neuter project. We'll work with vets, staff, and volunteers from around the USA to help people in Ecuador provide medical care to their beloved pets. This is our story - and I'm sticking to it!
I got most of the big dogs for surgery. This one is a 120# St. Bernard: This dog doesn't look excited to be here: Carolyn with a cat. Carolyn was the trainer for catheter placements and preop. She did a great job and was all compliments for Blue: This Rott/Pit cross has vaginal tumors and I had to get samples for a research project as well as spay her. She is being treated for the cancer and should do fine:
